Foreign Fish Recipes

Fish Chowder

2 to 3 lb. Dolphin fillets
3 cans sliced potatoes
3/4 lb. salt pork
2 green peppers
1 lg. onion
12 oz. can V-8 juice
1/4 lb. margarine
Salt, pepper, hot sauce

  • Melt margarine, then dice pork, onion and pepper.

  • Layer ingredients in crockpot as follows: margarine, fish, 1 can potato, 1/3 onion, pepper, salt pork, add hot sauce, V-8 juice and repeat.

  • Top layer should be potatoes. Add 6 ounces water. Let cook 8 hours.

  • Then mash all ingredients (will be thick). Serve with hot bread.
